post Summary

The British Retriever Trophy features in this weekend's Telegraph Weekend Magazine, following an interview and photoshoot at the Apley Estate. Find out more about the story behind the BRT and the vision for its future.

Our story lands this weekend in The Telegraph's Weekend Magazine, and it's fair to say that we are extremely proud and very excited.

From first approach to a day at the Apley Estate

The anticipation has been building since we were first approached by The Telegraph in the summer, and then again when we welcomed reporter Matthew Bell and the team to the Apley Estate at the beginning of October.

Sharing the story behind the British Retriever Trophy

Spirits were high as BRT founder Steve Price and fellow Director and gundog trainer Dave Thomas shared their passion for the British Retriever Trophy, the story behind its creation and their vision for the future.

Estate owner Lord Hamilton joined us for the interview and photoshoot, alongside his son Francis and dogs Ginko and Isis, who were only too happy to become part of the "pack" for the afternoon. It was wonderful to hear from Lord Hamilton about the history of the estate, what the business looks like today, and what the future holds.

The momentum behind the BRT continues to build, and the opportunity to reach such a wide audience gives us an even greater platform to showcase the incredible partnership between dog and handler, and the skill, dedication and training that sits behind it.
